The aircraft are often pulled outside the art deco hangar’s and taken up for a spin by many of the local volunteer pilots.

The MAM is located in the southern portion of Virginia Beach at the Virginia Beach Airport. No ropes and barries around the planes; you can see them upclose. 105 + acres of open green space, with a free picnic area and dinosaur park. Special events are often held on the weekends. The MAM is a host to many private events, such as, wedding, military functions, board meetings and team building to simply name a few.

The Military Aviation Museum is home to one of the largest private collections of World War I and World War II era military aircraft in the World.

Each has been beautifully restored to its prior military condition, using original parts whenever possible.
