Electric Cars: The More People Who Plug In, The Less Sick We’ll Be

The data is clear: the road to better health is one where Electric Cars are driving on it. An American Lung Association study finds that we could save tens of billions of dollars in health care costs annually if all car sales in just 10 states with high standards for lowering emissions had 100 percent sales of Electric Cars. While there are states that embrace Electric car ownership with incentives like tax credits and rebates, there are still others that are not ready to give up our reliance on foreign oil. Correspondent Natalie McGill joins Lee at the desk to show why it’s important for all states to get on board with incentivizing zero emission vehicles so that every one, car-owner or not, can breathe easier.
